KEVIN ZHANG
Director/ Senior Structural Engineer
Kevin is the Director of Engsolution and a Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) with over 15 years’ structural engineering experience in New Zealand and overseas.

He began his career at Arup, advancing to Project Lead in Hong Kong, where he delivered major high-rise projects and achieved UK Chartered status. In 2017, he moved to New Zealand, joining Constructure and working on projects from bespoke homes to large-scale developments, including Cromwell Hospital.

Kevin became a New Zealand CPEng in 2022 and founded Engsolution, which has since delivered over 400 projects. He is recognised for combining technical expertise with innovative, practical solutions to complex structural challenges.

FRANCESCA JIN
Senior Structural Technician
Francesca has nine years’ experience in the construction industry, starting as a detailer at Raylight Aluminium, where she specialized in complex joinery detailing with AutoCAD 2D while completing her Architectural Technology Diploma at Ara Institute of Canterbury.

She later joined Borrmeister Architects as an Architectural Technician, contributing to 3D modelling and construction detailing. Since Engsolution’s inception, Francesca has progressed from part-time to full-time, producing precise AutoCAD and Revit models that ensure accurate beam fixing details, sections, and construction documentation. Her meticulous attention to detail, especially in levels and construction elements, underpins the quality of her work.
